Reserving a Date

Call us as soon as you as you have a tentative date set for your event. This date will be reserved for you once a deposit is paid and a contract is signed. Doing this allows us the opportunity to notify you first in the event someone else is interested in the same date if you have not yet paid your deposit. To reserve your date, please contact us.

Deposit & Order Confirmation

Deposit amounts are equal to one half of the estimated total. Final guest count will be required no less than two weeks before your event. Final payment is required three days prior to your event.

Corporate clients may require an initialed Order Confirmation in place of a contract and payment will be due upon delivery or completion of the event. Corporate billing is on a pre-arranged basis. All Corporate arrangements are at the discretion of the Caterer and can be changed without notice.

Cancellation

If a client cancels the contract with Blackburn & Company any time before 14 days prior to the event, the cleint’s deposit will be forfeited. If the client terminates the contract anytime within 14 days of the event date, the entire contract amount is due.

Delivery Fees

Prices listed below are for deliveries within Eugene/Springfield. Other fees may apply for deliveries outside these areas.

All “Set-up/Pick-up” deliveries using our catering and serving equipment will be charged a fee of $45. This will include delivery and set-up of the equipment prior to the event and complete clean-up after the event with all leftovers packaged in disposable containers for the client. Blackburn & Company may determine this fee to be less based on size of event and distance to location.

All “Set-up Only“ deliveries that use disposable serving equipment will be charged a fee of $25. This will include delivery and set-up of disposable equipment.

Catering Staff

Catering staff may be hired to staff your event at $15 per hour per person with a two-hour minimum.

Catering Equipment and Dinnerware

It is the responsibility of our Client to care for all equipment we have provided for the service of the catered event. Any missing or damaged catering equipment or supplies will be charged to the Client at replacement costs.

If your event requires additional rental equipment, tables, dinnerware, linens or other specialty equipment we can assist you with such rentals at an additional charge.

High quality disposable products can be provided for your event. Below are the most popular combinations of items, but we can provide as much or as little as you need.

- Full place setting – Plate, Napkin, Fork, Knife, Spoon & Cup $1.00/ person
- Full place setting without cup and spoon $ .75/ person
- Hors d’ oeuvre setting – cocktail napkins, hors d’oeuvre plate & fork $.50 per person
- Paper tablecloths $2.00 each

Floral or Decorative Charges

We can assist you with floral arrangements or decorations for your buffet and/or dinner tables. All decorative requests will be billed in addition to your catering services.

Minimum Orders

There is a 15-person minimum for all Hors d’oeuvre menu orders and a 12-person minimum for all other menu orders.
